AU Countries
AfroGrow’s six Living Labs are the core of the project. They are dynamic, real-life environments across Africa where innovation meets local knowledge. These hubs bring together communities, researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to co-create practical, sustainable agroforestry solutions tailored to diverse regional challenges.
From desertification and biodiversity loss to deforestation and climatic crisis, AfroGrow’s Living Labs serve as testing grounds for climate-smart strategies that enhance resilience, equity, and sustainability. They are spaces for participatory research, knowledge exchange, and policy shaping, and bridges for collaboration between AU and EU partners.
