This October, AfroGrow will join innovators, researchers, and digital pioneers at Synergy Days 2025 in Rotterdam, the leading European event connecting the digital and agri-food sectors.
Hosted by the SmartAgriHubs Community and supported by the AgData partnership, Synergy Days serves as a hub for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and hands-on collaboration. Over two days, participants will engage in discussions on the digital transformation of agriculture, sustainability pathways, and the role of innovation ecosystems in shaping resilient food systems.
AfroGrow’s Presence
At Booth 5, the AfroGrow team will showcase the project’s vision of “Agroforestry Living Labs for Sustainable African Growth.” Visitors will have the opportunity to learn how AfroGrow strengthens agroforestry innovation ecosystems across Africa, connecting local practices with scientific research and stakeholder-driven Living Labs.
Pitch Session
On Day 2 (22 October, 10:15–10:45), AfroGrow will take the stage to present how Living Labs can accelerate the transition toward climate-resilient and inclusive agri-food systems. The session will outline AfroGrow’s collaborative framework, ongoing pilot activities, and opportunities for cross-continental knowledge sharing.

This session focuses on how local eco-innovation ecosystems can enable climate-just and sustainable agri-food transitions in Africa. By combining ecological approaches such as agroforestry with value chain empowerment, the workshop aims to spark dialogue and actionable collaboration.
